Thanks, amiga! Sorry, but a batch of comment notifications did not reach the inbox or the little top-right “light” box. Thank you so much for your interest and support! Z
Thanks, Barb! One of the museum guards said that the paintings seemed to make the entire room move a bit. He then asked if I had ever experienced ayahuasca and said that the paintings reminded him of how he felt when he experienced it! That comment gave me a chuckle! Z
Congratulations. The installation is impressive – beautifully arranged and extensive. It really showcases the individual works and also gathers them together so that, though each looks wonderful when one’s focus is on a single work, together they play off one another. Also, thanks for the pics that show the steps an artist takes in getting ready for a show and for the other pics that show how life goes on by the edge of the sea in Ecuador.
Ron, in case no one else has told you recently, you are a great person!
We pulled together a video presentation to play while I was speaking, and I will edit and upload it at some point. Thank you so much for your feedback! Z
I also liked the few paintings you showed us. Love the photo of the frames all lined up together … Glad to hear the exhibition went well.
You have some wonderful photos of the sunset. Or is it a sunrise?
hey dear rosie!
thanks for visiting! the photos were taken at sunset on july 3rd and on july 4th, when i got off the bus and walked back to the hostal cruzita. that’s a sothing way to end an arduous day, and i am grateful for beautiful moments with the salt-of-the earth people! z
Love the photos;time well spent before showtime. Looks like a beautiful exhibition. Hope to hear all about it.
