They are all good, but those skyscapes are FANTASTIC! I’ve never seen a purple moon in the morning…
Thank you so much! On Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast, I am almost always out before daylight to admire the moon setting and the sun rising, and of course at the end of the day I “brake” for the moon rising while the sun is setting! This photo was taken at a very calm estero at Playa San Miguel. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos! Z

Mint Julep, without doubt. The problem, I’ve discovered is acquiring bourbon in Latin America! I’ll be in Cuenca in early September and hope to sit on a veranda with you sometime.
Si, but there’s plenty of rum for mojitos and pisco from Peru for maracuyitas! Adjusting is quite easy with the abundance of fresh and inexpensive ingredients! I will be working on a commissioned piece in Cuenca later this year. It will be fun to see if anyone in Cuenca makes a mint julep! Z

Thanks! I knew that you’d post a great response to the Purple Quest, and I enjoyed all, especially the painting over the sofa and the soothing wall colors throughout. Z
My favorite is the photo titled “Kuna Chats”. The purple and green fabric in the woman’s garment reminded me so of the tie dyes and block prints of Liberia and Guinea. It seemed to be a favored combination there, and apparently it has cross-cultural appeal!
