So many times people have watched me work or have looked at a painting and said wistfully, “I wish I could do something like that.”
“You CAN! I will teach you,” I assured, and the results were often stunning.
Inspired by the brightly-colored fabric designs of Panama’s Kuna Indians, this unique painting style continues to evolve. After a basic primer on the history of the geometric designs, students select a theme and embark on a new painting experience!
Whether participating in an individual student workshop or a group painting project, the students emerge with strong and highly-colorful designs.
Lisa,
Seeing the “I Can Do This” photos on your engaging website brought back positive memories of my experience working with you in Costa Rica.
I look forward to your next workshop.
Cis Wilson
Thanks, Cis! I look forward to a serious painting session at your lovely refuge! Z
Lisa….
It was very relaxing…as you will remember I actually enjoyed it and wish there was more to do that night…
Every time I am in Roberto’s office I get a big smile on my face when I see the painting.
Thank You,
Michael
Thanks Michael! You were a natural. We’ll have to plan another project if you and Roberto ever stop long enough to paint! Hold that smile!!! Z
Lisa, I love your web site – all your hard work shows. The “I can do this” work shop was such an amazing experience for me and all our house guests. I loved doing my own project later, watching our granddaughter and her friend take off on their own and now another friend jumped in and did her very own creation. You are always so patient and encouraging. You have discovered something with your new mola designs. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mrs. S. PS – Barb’s is amazing!
Thanks amiga! I just shared the eclipse story from last year. Don’t forget that the eclipse is tomorrow morning and not tomorrow night! Yes, Barb’s is amazing. I was very proud of her work! Z
