Btw, Blogger friends and subscribers; it’s very difficult to subscribe or to comment on Blogger. (“No hay…”) Sometimes if I’m stubborn enough, I keep trying, and finally it goes through. Surely others have the same problem? 😦 Z

Dear Helene!
You and Lise are always close in spirit! Whenever I see where someone from France has visited, my mind takes a little trip over there and sends you both a smile! My friend Bastien is also from France, so I send him a smile as well! Z

I love, love, LOVE the “happy shoes”. I want some to wear like that with the butterflies included!
zeebradesigns said:
I can see your smile and hear your voice in that one! I wish I could send a pair of butterflies soaring in your direction! When I started the painting, I had a rough image penciled in and was pondering how to execute the painting without a real butterfly for reference. That afternoon I was pulling weeds in the yard and found that butterfly that surely died in that exact spot just for me! That makes the second unique butterfly that seemed to have been ‘sent’ to me!
I am so glad you like the shoes, and perhaps one day we you will have a pair!
Love,Z

Btw, friends – Andalyn is a friend from ‘way back’ She and I spent countless idyllic hours riding horses, swimming, fishing, water skiing, exploring the backwoods/waters of the Mississippi Delta. We often rode horses on full-moon nights during those hot summer months – when the cotton fields looked like a snow-covered landscape!
She was also a great partner in the speed events at horse shows during the summer months. Those were grand days, amiga! Z

oh, Lisa, you brought tears to my eyes! Thank you for the stroll down memory lane of the uncluttered, non-responsible childhood days that we were so extremely lucky to have! I have reflected on those days the past couple of months, especially when the song we listened to the morning after Minnie died, “Clowns to the Left of Me, Jokers to the Right, Here I am Stuck in the Middle Again” came on and you were singing it, tears rolling down your face while we made cookies, elbowing me on your left and Pat on your right. That song has been playing once a week on the oldies channel for 2 months now! Also, I have started a blog page with WordPress today! Thanks to your suggestion a while back I am in the beginning stages of it. My first blog will be about the Great Flood of 2011 so be watching for it with pictures of the devastation in my little lakeside community of Donaldson Point. This blog page is confusing to me but I will master it! I miss our early morning before daylight horseback rides on Blue and Sunup…Those were truly the “good ole days”, my friend. Watch for my blog, try not to giggle too much at the amateur beginner, but I will get it going and hopefully have almost as good of a blog site as yours! Love ya!

i have such a huge smile, and yes, i always go back to that moment when i hear that song!
there are two people who are have not started a blog but should, and you are one of them.. the other lives in ecuador, and he sends out a newsletter about once a week that the entire world should have the honor of reading.. because of the two of you, i’ve been trying to find time to design a ‘YOU CAN DO THIS” blogging nomination…

I stumbled to your blog following your avatar after writing my own entry on a mola I found at an estate sale. Beautiful work…. I too have always loved the look of a Mola – the geometric patterns and bright colors.
Thanks for sharing.
