Oops! The “Publish” button was trigger happy!
The above images show the foliage-eating iguana that stuffed himself into an awkward ‘busted’ moment! He was lean enough to get into the garden, but definitely outgrew his private entrance!

🙂 Thanks!
AWESOME!
Reminds me of the cobra – with a belly full of frog – that got stuck in a door to one of the sheds, when we lived in the boondocks 🙂 Will have to hunt for that not so great image.
On my goodness! Yes,yes, YES- please share that photo, even if it gives everyone a creepy ‘I’m glad we don’t have cobras’ feeling!
Beautiful colors and a kind heart for releasing the poor thing!
Thank you! I was so glad that I took that walk through the garden, otherwise he might have suffered. Z
Adorable series! Fun post! 😉
Thanks! It was quite funny when I found him stuck in that fence!
Thanks for the smile !
You are so very welcome! Z
We all get ourselves into tight spots from time to time – often because of our ravenous appetites for everything from consumer goods to all of the activities that crowd into our calendars. It’s good to try and wriggle our way free, but it’s also nice when life lends a hand and helps free us!
Your brilliant personality shines through! I agree totally! Z
I love the second to the last photo…..looks like he/she is smiling 🙂
Si, almost like, “Whew! She’s not going to kill me or hurl me into the river!”
I like the private entrance!
Ha! Thanks! Z
YIKES! That looks like something out of a scifi movie! Great series of shots.
I’m glad that the images caught your attention! Yes, the iguana’s colors were brilliant that day, though they faded as I snipped away at the wire. I’d have faded as well if i were caught in a wire fence! Z
thank he/she did not get choked :(. happy ending and great photo shoot 🙂
Yes, I was glad that I had walked to the back of the house and found him/her stranded there! I was quite amused that the swiss chard and green bean thief got caught! Z

so cute and I am so happy you set him free
Thanks! I try to plant enough for the fauna and me! Z
What a handsome fella. Full of curiosity. It’s colors always brilliant. Beautiful post.
Si, and he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar! I was amused, though also amazed at the trust that developed as I snipped him free. He stayed in my hand for a long time before he returned to his normal life! Z
Adorable, and I’m glad he got help to be free again, :).
Thanks! He’s now chomping away a larger amount each day but is still welcome as ‘living sculpture’ in the garden! Z
Glad you rescued him. 🙂
Thanks! The “busted” moment was a funny unexpected surprise, and I enjoyed snipping away the wires while taking reference photos. I never dreamed that a few years later I would have the opportunity to share that moment with the world!
Z
We never know! I loved the ending; a happy one. 🙂

Wow this is awesome! Great pictures and entry!
Thanks; so is yours! Have fun, and we all are looking forward to your report/reports! 🙂 Z
A clever one 😀
thank you so much! 😀
Great photos. I thought he was breaking out of his cage. Interesting that he let himself sit on your hand like that!
he was pretty stuck, and it took a wihle to snip the wires free, so i suppose he learned to trust me!
Z
I got a little worried there, but it turned out to have a happy ending! 🙂
Si! It looked so funny ‘stuck’ there and waiting to be discovered. (or hoping to be discovered and rescued!) Thanks for spending time on the posts! Lisa/Z
