“I LOVE MY JOB!” Mueso Cancebi – Manta Ecuador
WordPress updated gallery options for sharing images and asked us to test them. *For this post, I am attempting to put each image in a circle of a spotlight. Visit the WordPress DailyPost Home Base to see posts from all over the world!
Thank you, WordPress for the great weekly challenges. Thanks, everyone, for your incredible feedback on last week’s Post on Solitary. I hope to have a follow-up story on that old man as soon as I can retrieve more images trapped in an old hard drive!
Thanks, also, for your support for the Inspirational post about my nephew Don. I am blessed to have so much positive feedback and support. He seems genuinely baffled that we think he’s a very special and unique person!
WordPress community: YOU ROCK! I hope that these images make you smile!

While exploring the spotlight options, I discovered a great slideshow bonus! Click any circle/image, and a slideshow starts at that point!
Thanks, everyone, for tolerating three posts in one day! It’s been a good day for catching up while I waited on a carpenter to not show up. One has to be flexible in Latin America!

Perhaps the carpenter overslept?
* Although I selected two gallery columns, the circle option inserted three. I switched to one column, four columns, and three columns stubbornly held their places! What am I doing wrong?!
(If this is my biggest problem for the day, I am lucky!)

thanks! i found your three pingbacks in the spam folder! z
Tollerate? When they are this fun we love them! ‘-)
Just noticed your question… I tried to use gallery today and it didn’t work at all. I guess it will take time and practice.
you have to tweak some preferences in the dashboard under settings/media/image gallery (display in a cool mosiac)…
wordpress teels how to do it manually, which is how i did the circles.

Thanks!
you are a dear! thanks! z
You did a great job with the circle gallery! Beautiful colorful photos!
Thank you amiga! The circles required a bit more attention than the other options. z

I agree with the comments that you’ve done a superb job with the circle gallery – I couldn’t even see that particular option in my dashboard, so yes, some of your ‘issues’ are mighty light in comparison to my ignorance. hahahaha. 🙂 Great photographs too.
Using the circle format requires typing in the correct code prompt| – http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/10/04/tiled-image-galleries/
scroll down to the fourth paragraph, and he gives a tiny tutorial… i guessed as to where to insert that command, and i am happy that beginner’s luck was on my shoulder!

🙂
thanks, hugh! z
Smiling faces and happy people,,,love the little boy and big guitar. So very glad you are feeling well and feeling up to challenges that make you go in circles.
thanks! i will never forget when pederico summoned me from across the street, retrieved his guitar and played the song! he’s much older now, and has turned quite bashful!

Love the photos of all the folks, and love the frog! Lovely to see what makes you happy!
Thank you! I always love your nature photos as well! z
Love, love your “happy” post!!!
thank you! you have such a great attitude on life! z
Great circles of happiness! I had to laugh with the Maria photo, putting that cabbage or lettuce leaf on her head…..the girl in the purple top to Maria’s left didn’t look too amused:)
You are so observant, and that other person’s expression is one of my favorite parts of the photo.. She realized that she was missing out on some humor, yet couldn’t quite figure out if she should step out of her normal persona and join the fun!
I happened upon Maria and the other guy, who were doing business as usual with the leaves on their heads.. When one thinks about cabbage leaves = well, the probably are naturally cooling!
When i commented on the leaves, of course that’s when the fun began!

Your circles of happiness is wonderful! Their happy faces make me happy! 🙂
Thank you so much! They demanded a bit more time, but I enjoyed the challenge! z

So cool! I could not figure out for the life of me how to do the circle gallery. I love the way it looks! Thanks for sharing your happy post!
You are so welcome! I regret that I have not had time to sort through images for your Color Challenge.. Would you consider extending it another week? 😕
Of course!!!! I love all your photos, they always make me happy! 🙂
Absolutely very creative work my friend thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks! Working the circles forced me to use a bit more of my gray matter! I needed that push! Z
(You should give us a tiny tutorial on something and challenge us to master it!)
Let me think for that my friend soon
happy weekend 🙂
But of course! Everyone is always blown away by your posts.. We might not be set up to master animation, but I’ll bet there’s something you can challenge us with!!! Have a great weekend to you as well!
Z
That was a good idea the problem i think if everyone in the challenge are willing to buy CS5 software to join 🙂
you are so right! we admire your genius!!! z
🙂
Been having a rough couple of weeks and can’t devote the time I’d like. I have so many posts to look at that I have no time for my own. UGH! I want to try this gallery stuff? Your posts have been super, Z!
I understand totally. Keeping up with WP often requires many hours per day.. Some seem to race through and click like but i suspect don’t really read or look at the posts.. If I ‘like’ a post, it deserves my attention and honesty!
i’ll bet you’re the same!
z
A wonderful gallery of happiness pics, Lisa – no way to choose a favourite, and why should we when we’re left with sunshiny smiles (or Halloween grins!). Sounds as though Latin America and paradise have much in common … 🙂
Thank you so much! It’s nice when images prompt us into a smile! I’m glad you enjoyed them! Lisa/z
🙂
Okay… I get it. Love the circles. 😉
ha ha HA! glad you do! z
