Resident llamas at Hacienda Guachala, Ecuador
The WordPress Challenge for this week is Surprise, and I have a short and sweet one to share.
While taking early-morning photos with my friend Marie, I totally ignored my friend while focusing on the llamas that were grazing on the other side of the fence. Marie snapped my photo and started laughing, and I turned and quickly snapped one of her (laughing at her photo luck!)

those are so cute! Merry Christmas, Lisa, my lifelong friend. I miss you! and seeing these pictures made me miss the “good old days” even more.
Yep, my barrel-pickup buddy! When I’m back, we’ll have to see if we can still do that barrel pickup without falling off the horse!

well, you always did an awsome job of “steering” and I almost always landed on Sunup’s rear, but sometimes over-jumped and landed on the ground over the horse’s rear…hehe…now if I did that at my age I would break something! but, I trust you to steer…we’ll do it going at a walk..phaha
