Frizztext’s Story Challenge has reached the end of the alphabet, and I had no problems finding images for the letter Z! There are so many zebra options in my files for this week’s challenge, I will try to dole a few more out during the week.
Let’s go down the steps and see if we can find some z images to kick off the week!
Frizz, you did a great job of planning this challenge so that it ended on the last week of the year!
More soon!
Z
Love all your Zeatures! Thanks for sharing.

thank you! the z rocks are popular! glad you liked them! z
By the way, I am plastering my posts with copyright signs but I think it may be a futile way to prevent inappropriate copying or reblogging. What I consider inappropriate reblogging has already happened. Do you think I am being a bit over the top? I can’t seem to find a way to put a watermark on the actual photos. What programme do you use?
hey.. no i don’t think you’re being over the top. it helps prove your ownership, as you have the date of uploading the photo to wordpress with the copyright/name on there. it basically tells people, ‘this is who i am, and i am aware of my rights,’ but if someone uses that image for the purpose of making money, it’s a serious offense.. but you have to catch it in time and pursue within a certain amount of time after their publication… if you have registered those images, then it’s much easier, and they have to pay the court costs as well… this is based on my research from my own copyright infringement case that i did not pursue.. now i wish i had, as the photo made the man a millionaire through self promotion. his reply was, ‘i htought you’d be happy that an international magazine used your image.’ though i found it by chance.
i use a free program called irfanview. you place the little ‘box’ where you want to insert the info and then go to edit/insert text and you’ll find the copyright symbol offered, then you type your name after that.. there’s a choice of fonts and colors of fonts etc.. have fun!
z
Ah, thanks for all the info. I will give irfanview a try. I am glad to have your views.
Was excitingly awaiting for your Z blog..was not disappointed :)…great photos !
hey, and you got a bonus of a z post! thanks! z
Oh, zeese are so cool! Happy holidays, Z!

YEAH! I also like your avatar. It’s so tribal!
thanks! that was taken from a watercolor of mine that’s very popular.. the icon hand is from a precolumbian relic from this area of ecuador.
z
I can feel it’s power! Love it!!
very amusing, Z = Lisa: your animals converted to a Zebra fake – nice animal fashion, indeed!
thanks! glad they gave you a smile! z
Thanks Z. We all have our inner and outer zebras. BTG

What a perfect letter of the alphabet for you!!!! Great post. Hope you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful, productive 2013.
hey amiga!
thank you so much, and yes, it’s a perfect letter for me! happy new year to you as well!!!
z
My favorite little “bit” found in your entry? The fact that everyone at the mola exhibit received one of their own rocks. That’s a lovely touch, personal and fun as well as good marketing! Brava!
thank you! i painted over 100 rocks, and there were none left for the next day! there was also a painting in progress that many people helped fill in areas of color. one friend’s little daughter attended, and he told me that right before they arrived at the museum, she said, ‘i’m going to get to paint!’ and he said, ‘oh, no.. this is a show, you will get to look at paintings..’ and then to that family’s delight, she was able to paint! she did a great job, too!
z
ohhh so cool!! everything’s all zeebra’d up
yes, all zeebra’d up and so fun! thanks!
Love the steps down to your workroom, the awesome zebra stones and the frog with the orange background. Fabulous Z!
thanks! the choice for the steps was also to help prevent accidents, in case of power failure or if someone had too much to drink (!) then every other step is easily seen!
z
Loved this too. Re-blogged it and shared on FB!
you are too kind! thank you! z
🙂 Much Love Jaz
Reblogged this on jazfagan and commented:

thank you so much! someone visited and left a comment from the reblog. grrrrrracias! z
De nada Mi Amiga!!!!
Lots of fun! I really love those rocks – the stripes seem to go so well with the rocks’ shapes. (Agree with shoreacres!) I hope you’re having a good holiday, and I hope people are being as generous to you as you have been to so many this year.
thank you for your kind comment! i’m glad you like the zeebra rocks! painting them is sort of a zen session and a good way to paint just for the fun of painting!
si, life rewards me well! thanks! z
Right up your alley, z. What fun! Token Z rocks. You rock!
you rock, too, amiga! thanks! z
I think I’ll move to where you are and take up painting zebra rocks, seems like a lot of fun and relaxed way to live! I like all these pix, but the ‘people’s fave’ is mine too, such gorgeousness! 😀
Lisa, I appreciate your visits to my ordinary jmnpixels blog. Tis the New Year soon and, I hope, a good year for all of us. Cheers from Melbourne!
and a good year for you as well! you will surely be in charge of your future, and i hope that your new year is a great one!

PS: I forgot to say — ‘zebra rocks’, the first time I came across that term was when I was in a shop just outside Kununurra in Western Australia, when I was working there many years ago. The local stone that sells well can be found only in this part of Australia, on the edges of Lake Argyle, a man-made lake providing water for irrigation purposes. It has variations, depending, and the ‘zebra’ part is squiggly layers of a brown/sandy colouring. I have a pendant of it and also a larger round piece, as a memento of my time there. That’s the memory your post prompted in me!
your description sounds beautiful! i’m glad you have a momento from those times. do the rocks seem magical? i would think they would give off good vibes!
z
Loved it all, Sis. Keep up the great work. As usual, I am SO VERY PROUD OF YOU! Maybe one day I’ll find some hidden talent!!
But of course 😀
These are all gorgeous Lisa….the frogs are particular favourites. And how cool are those steps! Lovely lovely post 🙂
Exzellent Z!
you are too funny! thanks! z
🙂
What fun – wonderful post. And I admire your patience in waiting through the entire alphabet to get to the one made just for you!
Gorgeous work Lisa 🙂 I was trying to find your march post too, but can’t see it….
thanks! if only all posts were so easy to create! which march post? the one where the people wore white and marched for peace?
gracias!
z
bahia de caraquez ‘march’
there were three or four! ill start with the first, which prefaced how i was first told about the ‘white.’ two others follow! thanks! lisa/z
