Miguelito asks, “Where’s Bob?”

THERE HE IS!
Working late on research about Ecuadorian mammals, I was delighted when an email from Bob arrived tonight! He is alive but not real well; the doctors in Costa Rica have him back on the road to recovery. He thinks he picked up a nasty food-born bug in Columbia. We should be hearing from him in a few days, but for now he’s resting and regaining his strength.
Whew!
Z
buen trabajo.. I´m glad he appear!!!.. I hope he feel better soon
hey
i was getting ready to send an email to you.. glad you’re up and saw the post!
i’ve reached a good stopping point on my research so am going to sleep. until morning, z
Hooray!
yes! thanks! z
He’s gorgeous! Sending good wishes.
thank you.. i’ll pass that on to miguelito and bob!!!!
Whoa! It’s a good thing you have a great sense of intuition. You sensed something was wrong with Bob. I sure hope he feels better soon. It must have been a nasty bug. Thanks for letting us know.
ja.. you sensed it as well! it was great to hear from him and know that he reached CR.
Hoping he’s well soon. That last shot of the turtle… brilliant =)
thanks! sometimes we’re in the right place at the right time!
Sending get well wishes to Bob – love the turtle pictures.
thanks! miguelito seemed to have more intelligence than i expected. i look forward to going back. on that day we had to catch the last ferry of the day, so time was short.
Your instincts told you something wasn’t right and you were right. Our best to Bob.
My body probably would have thrown on the brakes in half that time. When one travels nonstop with little time for recharging body and soul, usually that body and soul will find a way to get some rest.
I was relieved to hear from him.
Poor Bob! Hope he’s feeling better soon!
Hugs from Cuenca,
Kathy
at least he wasn’t banged over the head and robbed of his belongings and awakened with amnesia! he’s well traveled, so worry about his personal safety wasn’t a big worry, although bad things do happen to good, smart people.
it’s a reminder for all of us to always be smart… we have a safety net of support, but usually not as secure as the one we left behind.
i’m so glad that you’re doing well in cuenca! good luck w/your visa, which sounds like it’s happening really fast! good for you!
So glad to hear that Bob is relatively ok. Those GI bugs can be so bad! Thanks for the update.
Yes, I was so relieved to hear from him. z
Miguelito has such a cute face. 🙂 Wishing Bob all the best.
ha! i’ll be sure to send your regards to miguelito! he’ll be smiling all day!
I love that turtle face!! And best wishes to your friend Bob on recovery. Food borne bugs can certainly make a person very sick!!
yes miguelito has a certain charm to be so ancient! i hope to go back and visit him soon!
hopefully bob will bounce back, but it sounds as if his illness was quite grave.
z
Gosh sounds like he must have suffered quite a bit! Prayers and wishes for speedy healing his way!!
So glad to hear Bob has been located and he is on the road to recovery.
His parents are in CR now, though the last I checked he still hasn’t updated.. That tells me that he’s one ill guy. I sent him an email today and warned that the dengue numbers are high for this time of the year there. He doesn’t need another bad bug while he’s weak.
I will be praying for him.
Thanks! Z
Glad to know Bob is on the road to recovery.
Si; I hope so, but he has yet to be back online to update his blog. That tells me that he’s still quite ill. He’ll be honored that so many people care; thanks! z
