The Daily Prompt prompts us to show “Mirrored.” Here’s a shot of a just-hung zebra mirror in my friends’ home in Costa Rica. Natural models, the cats seemed quite at home beneath the new mirror!

Mirror Designs – Costa Rica
Long ago my friend Jenny posed in front of a tromp l’oeil mirror that matched the bathroom tile!
The 2012 Old Year/New Year brought fun moments with new friends! An impromptu face-painting session brought fun smiles!
The three-dollar mototaxi ride shortens the 5-kilometer distance when I am carrying many items home!
Other times I enjoy my walk home, though I never turn down a ride from a friend! On this day Fernando was taking his son Andy surfing, but he insisted on taking me home first! Sigh, there is still a touch of gallantry in the world!
Every so often we accidentally catch ourselves in the photo! Tag, you’re it!
Have a great weekend everyone!

love the mirrors, especially le zebra
Lovely reflections:)
Z, did the cats sit there before the zebra mirror? I like the contrast in their and its stripes and patterns. Take care, BTG

Me, too…I love walking in the front door of your life….
I love the mirror shots–all different and all fun.
Every time I see a cat near a mirror I’m reminded of the first time my new kitten saw himself in a mirror. Turned into the classic “Halloween cat”. Fortunately he figured out pretty quickly that there was no other cat there.
Nice choices, Z. Just FYI, your link in the comments didn’t work. I got here just by going to your site and searching.

We have an old mirror that came with the property just lying around in the shed. Your post stimulates me to screw it to a garden wall for an unexpected reflection. Thanks, Tony
that sounds wonderful! I hope that you share the finished work with us —- or the step by step! z
I’ll try to do that. Presently I’m working on an animation sequence to be shown along with a group of others, projected on the side of a building sometime in september. Gee it is time consuming and labour intensive. Not much time to do any of the X-ray stuff i love. Cheers, Tony
A great gallery of mirror images….well not exactly, but you know what I mean. The zebra mirror with the matching cat beneath is my favourite 🙂
Imagine a world without mirrors? They do spice up our lives and help us discover the many fun and interesting things around us . Awesome pictures!
the zebra mirror is beautiful
