Luchy whips up many fruit drinks as well as cafe specialties!
Like a mischievous child, I’m jumping over a and b to tag along for Frizztext’s CCC challengethis week. How can I pass the opportunity to pair some coffee images with a lively song about coffee?
Enjoy the collection!
We picked a few grapefruit as well!
Surprise, surprise! Getting those beans out of their thick skinned jackets is not an easy task!
How would you like your coffee?
Coffee Press, a new concept to witness!
Thick concentrated coffee!
Calabash/Mate drip system
Old fashioned ‘mate’ (calabash) system vs. coffee press
you’d better watch mixing coffee and dancing toes or you’ll be awake til morning!
it’s always good to see you online before i crash for the night! it’s almost one thirty here.. good night, amiga!
how great! it’s almost 2 in the morning here, and i am about to have half a cup – it’s ‘cold’ (probably 65 degrees F) and the coffee will be a nice treat!
I love coffee from a press, my Serbian neighbor makes it for me. I’m sure it’s way better with fresh beans. Coffee cat seems to like the attention. Thanks for sharing!
yes, the press is simple and connects one with the coffee. using the calabash mate was interesting, and i look forward to returning and learning more about that process.

I like my coffee as tea. 🙂 Although I love the smell of coffee, if I drink it at all, it has to have something else (or more than one something elses) in it.
The photos are wonderful, and the coffee cat’s won my heart! Do you ever do iced coffee? If you do, the best-ever way to do it is with cold-brewed. If you want the “recipe”, let me know. It would be luscious with your beans.
Now, let’s see if this will work. We have a wonderful group here called the Flying Fish Sailors. They’re a kind of Celtic/string band/who knows what group. They write their own stuff, and one of my favorites is called “Give Me Coffee”. Let’s see if I can make the link work – they aren’t on youtube or any of those places, so I had to mess around a bit.
DEAR LISA DON´T THINK THAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN YOU, NOOOO I´VE BECOME A VERY BUZY MOM, STUDENT, WIFE, NURSE, COOK, ENTERPRISER, WELL, ALMOST, YOU KNOW ABOUT MY “FUTURE PROJECT” BUT I READ ALL YOUR POSTS THEY ARE VERY INTERESTING. I SEND YOU A GIANT HUG, BYE TAKE CARE YOUR STILL NEW FRIEND.

We needed one more morning and you could have joined us at the surf shak for French pressed coffee…yummy! Would like to learn more about the calabash mate
Fantastic!!! I smell the coffee through the cables and I’m dancing with the music!! 🙂

You probably know Seattle is thought of as a coffee-lover’s paradise, but this is the real thing. Oh, YUM!!!
oh yes, and a lot of that coffee came from latin america. there’s a virus causing big problems in central america…
