Bear with me, amigos!
The navigator’s task creeps along with today’s slow internet.
This Google Map needs tweaking, but hopefully you can find your way around and see if we’re close to the mark!
Rae, the GPS wants to plant you in the Philippines! You must do a bit of out-of-body sleep walking!
( “View Larger Map” gives you the list of passengers on the left-side column!)
Take the map one knotch down to view it in the smaller window.
Here goes the “Publish” prompt, and hopefully most of the sites are close!
It’s almost 6 p.m. here, and we are set to lift off at 9 p.m. There’s a tiny glitch in the hydraulics, but the mechanic says not to worry! I’d best go powder my nose!

ruth, it’s going to be so great to meet you in person! we have a group of highly-talented people on this flight!
If we all bring our brushes and pencils, do you think we can paint a star-scape with zeebra stripes?
That will be so much fun! yes!
the technical glitches are almost repaired!
John’s already on the roof with a flashlight ! Banana bread is fresh out of the oven.
This so cool !!!

It’s time to close your eyes real tight and hang on, here we gooooooooooooooooooo!

Just checked and low tide is at 9:29.. so plenty of room on the beach if you over shoot the roof top. 🙂

Reblogged this on Living It Up in Ecuador and commented:
Waiting for Lisa and her Magic Carpet T Minus 1 Hour 22 minutes Woohoo !!
fIt’s still cloudy here in Colombo but the sun’s up, of course, so he should be able to plot a course across the Palk Straits from Carina in Kerala. I see Patti’s bringing crab so I’ll be sure to pack all the aramats for the crab curry. Can’t wait to step foot on South American soil to see you all and party on the beach – what a time it will be 🙂
The technical glitches have taken much longer, but the aircraft is sound! oh yes, beach party shrimp fest!
This may be the most exciting ride of my life. I think, it’s going to be a bit like Father Christmas on his sleigh come Christmas Eve.
the carpet and i are ready but we’re held up with technical glitches.. we’re coming!
Bother!
We’re airborn! https://playamart.wordpress.com/2013/07/23/we-have-a-liftoff/
Hooray.
I have my umbrella with me. It’s raining. The brownies are hot and Hope is patiently waiting for the magic carpet ride for her bananas from Lynne. I’m sooo excited!!!
technical glitches but we’re coming!
Ugh. I miss all the fun! When can I sign up for next month?
WE’ll pick you up! we had a few technical glitches! The ride will do wonders for your recovery!
Love your moon shots:) They are absolutely beautiful:) Wow!!! I was out tonight hoping to capture some moon shots too….they are not easy to capture….the one on this post is perfect as is the one on the post before:)
thank you! your golden harvest shots were amazing. thanks.. the moon is pretty special and is worth many attempts to capture that beauty!
Your moon shots are some of the best I have seen and they are on the beach with the ocean too…they draw you into the photo…and the shadows, light and image is so very real, I feel I can step into the photo…I love the ocean and walking on the beach with the smaller waves washing over my feet:) I agree on the moon so I keep trying, have not looked yet at my camera so my fingers are crossed that maybe this time…
Hey Z BB here…..I might be in Hood River which is up the mighty but beautiful Columbia River … Can I still hitch that ride? Over and Out…
We’re on our way! Should reach you in about fifteen minutes if I don’t have to awaken half of our passengers!
I’m extremely lost in this post, but I LOVE the photo. 🙂
Man, am I late for the trip or what? Running to catch up!
