Hi Amigos!
I’m back with another post for the WordPress Photo Challenge which states: “This week, share a photo that has a little something extra: an unexpected visitor, or a tranquil landscape with a splash of color…or find a photo with an added element that makes it an image only you could capture.”
(Quito Ecuador) – Returning home after fast trip to Ecuador’s Sierra, I spent many hours wading through an eclectic range of photos which covered visits to pueblitos, museums and even a lending library of books written in English!
The photos from the Crystal Palace included the flaming nasturtiums and geraniums as well as delicate pink hues of taxo – a new species for my eyes. Inside the glass enclosure was an impressive collection of soccer images from Brazil.
Stepping back outside, I took photos of the sweeping view of the city, but the camera caught something extra that I overlooked.
What do you think? Is this an optical illusion, or was a guardian angel watching over us?
Do you think that I have an overactive imagination?
Z
Looks like a guardian angel to me 🙂 .
I love seeing stuff like that too! Definitely looks like a guardian angel 🙂
Reblogged this on The ObamaCrat™.
If this were my photo, I would say it was a smudge on the lens! Since you are a far better photographer than I am … haze?
Z, what a neat photo. All of them are, but the Guardian Angel as Gallivanta said rings true. Take care. I am off on a roadtrip with graduated son to eventually pick up my other son who is finishing up a summer class. Should be fun. Adios amiga BTG
love this am sending you a picture I think you will enjoy …when you have time check it out…its just this kind of thing…an unexpected image.
I love the unexpected images…and love the idea of a guardian angel! Sometimes, from your reports, I feel that you must have one! Thanks, Lisa!
Interestingly a smudge would have stayed in the same place, haze is everywhere, but this “smudge” moved around, & the haze seemed to be localized. There are many unexplained things all around us, & my vote is for a Guardian Angel!
It looks like Mother Teresa! Wow! Pretty cool Z!
i loved the ‘pretty feet’ winners and am trying to nudge the comment in your direction.. it’s suffering from separation anxiety or maybe it’s fearful of the gecko waiting to gobble little morsels of communication!
Glad you enjoyed the winners! That gecko was amazing as it clung to the glass of its enclosure! What a lucky shot and those adorable toes!
A beautiful guardian angel at that! 🙂
we see it also 🙂 and she does look like Mother Teresa, very cool. Wish we could get clear pictures of the “things” we’ve been seeing in the night skies lately
I saw it immediately. It looks like an angel looking down. What a great capture, because if it is an angel, I bet they don’t like their pictures taken.
Certainly with the outline you drew it looks like a guardian angel. Keeping watch over the city! Great post.
Well, there is an angel hovering over Quito. But I love your version better! And I love your shot of the Basilica.
Sorry to have been gone recently. We were without internet for two weeks, and then I traveled to the US for nearly another two. So glad to be home in Cuenca again!
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Very creative and artistic, Z!
I immediately saw the guardian angel, the facial outline, the eyes and nose…very cool! 🙂
Zee, you are priceless! I was about to say that I don’t care what the WP theme is so long as i can look at the world through your eyes, and then you show me a guardian angel! What more can I ask? 🙂 Hugs!
You must have some extraordinary connections. No doubt what it is, but hopefully you – or anyone else in Quito – don’t need her. Didn’t know that Quito was set on such a beautiful site.
Gotta’ admit it looks like a woman’s face, all right! Interesting light. 🙂 You need a protector as you wander around lost in your imagination, Zeeb! Chuckle…
Seeing with an artist’s soul!!!
